I foudn this amazing tree at the park behing the Guildhall.I will go back there in the Summer to take a photograph of what it looks like when the leaves cover it is branches.

An amazing tree for sure. I have to wonder how the trunk came to be that size and shape. Do you know the species of this tree?
is it sycamore?
This is so intriquing! I wonder if it had been chopped off and then new growth created the unique form!
