This is another example of wood carvings from early 17th Century.

I found this one engraved on the beams bearing the walls of a cottage I showed you a few month ago.

Door Knocker

A few days ago I went back to see a cottage I saw a while back and I found the most unusual door knocker in one of the doors of the cottage.

Cottage

I'm not sure what I love most about this place. It might be the wonderful old Tudor style house,. Or is it the very narrow road? Maybe it is the fact that it comes off the High Street...

Who knows? It is a wonderful cottage in a delightful little street right in the town centre.

Pretty Cottage

Chilham is one of those pretty villages where the houses look like they were out of a post card.
This one is my favourite of them all.

Green Home

I found this beautiful and so interesting house in Stodmarsh.

Don't you think it is very pretty? I do and I would love to live in there not only because it is a gorgeous home but also because it is opposite the pub I showed you the other day!

Riverside Cottage

I took this picture when I went to boat tour in Canterbury.
Along the river there are a few lovely places but this one was my favourite. If you click on the picture you will be able to see the beautiful drawings on the gate.
