This is the church St. Cosmus and St. Damian in the Blean , not far from Canterbury.Surrounded by fields, it is unusually isolated, nevertheless is warm and welcoming.

Rose, this is so serene and beautiful! Thanks for sharing that history too. When I saw the fragments of the original stained glass in one of the lancet windows? Makes me wish for the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings and to go inside and soak up all the history and craftsmanship!

Blean is the name of a village in the outskirts of Canterbury.
