Oysters in Whitstable?

I have recently decided that I am in love with oysters. Don't take me worng, I have always like them but I had not realised that I adore them... adore adore adore.
And the best place to eat oysters around here is Wheelers Oyster Bar. A wonderful little restaurant where they serve the perfect oyster with the perfect service.
I'm hungry...

Oysters straight from the sea are great, try some South Australian, you will love them.

I'm hungry for oysters now too! I love them barbecued with lots of garlic and butter but I'll happily slurp them down raw with a bit of Tabasco!

Raw. Oysters on the half-shell, with a little lemon squeeze and fresh horseradish. I could live the rest of my life on this.

(Are there monuments to Chaucer everywhere in your city? I'll have to visit next time I'm in the neighborhood.)

One day I will make the effort to go to the Kent coast and enjoy the oysters in a samll restaurant. It is the way they should be enjoyed.

Ironic how today they are considered a luxury when in times long gone they were considered food for the poor.
