Squirrel
I adore squirrels. They come and eat all my bulbs even though I give them plenty of seeds and peanuts but I still love seeing them running on top of my fence.#
They are my pets.

Hi Rose,I have had to put anti squirrel device to stop them robbing the bird feeders. No wonder the Americans call them tree rats. Good Photo.
Rose...I recall a time in our nation's history when the red squirrels of King George were leaving Washington's grey squirrels without anything to eat(metaphorically speaking...Cali also perhaps refers to this in her comment on spreading democracy). May all of us squirrels learn to share our nuts equally. BTW...I'm fond of almonds and walnuts...hands off!
Rose, will you still love the squirrels when they're nesting in your loft space, eating through the electrics! I thought they were cute until that happened to me in my house! Don't love them anymore! =0(

I miss sqirrels. W don't egt them on the island. He could eat my bird food anytime.
I read somewhere that American grey squirrels are invading and overtaking the native British red squirrels. I hope that's not true.
They are fun to watch, especially when they're watching me!
Elaine
Unfortunately it is true :(
I don't think the squirrels are taking over so much as spreading democracy ;-)
I forgot to add I like squirrels also. Where I live we have bunnies. I saw them for the first time a month ago.
The problem with the war between red and grey squirrels is that grey squirrels eat all the food leaving red squirrels hungry...

LOL, Coltrane.
Sacré bleu! Dining on "Louis's" relatives! Raw no less! "Louis" is shocked, SHOCKED! Not to mention outraged! “Louis” isn’t sure which is worse:
a) Eating his relatives raw!
b) Eathing his relatives cooked!
c) Eating his relatives at all!
or
d) All of the above
Quelle horreur!
“Louis’s” only comfort is that it wasn’t HIM on the plate!
I read that, too, USElaine.
Say hi to USLynn for me, Rose! (PHX!!!)
