Roses and wine

I m not sure if I have told you but Roses are, by far, my favourite flowers.
I found this bush in a vineyard in Staple a few days ago.
Yeah, the guys at Barnsole Vineyard can look after their roses as well as make excellent wine.

Roses always remind me of my grandmother who absolutely loved them, especially the red ones. Hmmm, Rose you've got roses, and wine, now all you need is the chocolate, Rose. Did I just repeat myself?

How can one not love roses ;-)

And I bet you have chocolate on hand somewhere!

Geeze Rose...you really don't like chocolate? Next you'll be telling me that you eat uncooked ground hamburger with delicate spices and a raw egg thrown in for good measure. ;-)

Roses are nice. I used to grow them and still have one. An old fashioned single from way back in the 1700s. This cutting has many generations of cuttings. But the rose is not liked by any bug or insect. So the aphids get the nectar of T-roses and all the others.
