Mercery Lane

Mercery Lane is one of the narrowest streets of Canterbury. If you are intol old places you would love it. The first floor of some buildings hang above your head and if you close your eyes you can almost feel what it was like in the olden days...

In this photo you can see Canterbury Cathedral at the end of the road, absolutely magic!

It puts me in mind of the Ponte Vecchio. I guess all narrow medieval shoppe-lined stone roads have a certain commonality, though. :)
