Picnic in the woods

Last Friday David had the day off and we went out for a walk in the woods and a picnic in our secret location...
Here is a photo I took for you while we were there...

Superbe shot, the tree just does it's job, and the light is great.

I'd keep the location a secret too! Wonderful old tree! Perfect in B&W!

What a beautiful tree. I like this b&w version of it, which makes the place really mysterious!

Lovely location. Picnics are fun, no? It is getting to be picnic weather here in Seattle, too, with the promise of 80ยบ f temps by the weekend.

Looks rather spooky and full of insects. Not sure I'd fancy a picnic there myself.

Spooky?
Don't be silly...:)
There was no insects though...none at all :)

Rose, that's a stunner of a photo! Perfect light, perfect tree. I like the black & white, too.

Keep that location a secret.

Rose, this looks like something from Narnia. So beautiful in black and white.

Fabulous. So glad you chose b&w for this image, it really empasises that stream of light against a rather spooky tree. Thought you said it was your daughter that was the photographer? This is a very striking image.
