From here you can see the Sun Hotel at the end. It is one of the oldest buildings in Canterbury and another precious gem... very beautiful

The aBode

Abode is the best hotel in Canterbury but also houses one of the best restaurants in the area: Michael Caines at the aBode.

The yellow sign shows the hotel has been awarded 4 stars by the AA, or Automibile Association. The AA have been going for over 100 years and award stars and rosettes to hotels and restaurants every year.

Bed and Breakfast in Canterbury

As I walked down Best Lane I saw this sign for a B & B and thought of you.

B&B stands for Bed & Breakfast. It is like a hotel but doesn't serve dinner, just breakfast. It is usually cheaper than a hotel although you can find some luxurious ones that are pricey.
