The history of King's Mill of Canterbury is very rich as it was not an ordinary mill. It was originally called Abbot's Mill but also had other names such as Eastbridge Mill and Kingsbridge Mill. Now all we have left is this plaque...
This is Chillenden Mill. Built in 1868 to replaced a former post mill. This iste has been a place for mills for over 500 years. It is a Grade II listed building and is looked after by the Chillenden Mill Group.
