I love this picture. Not the technical aspects of it but the subject.

Happy New Year Rose! It was such a delight to meet you this year - I hope to see you in 2009! I really like this photo too; I love wooden boats, plus seeing all those dresses hanging there really adds to the interest. Hmm, I wonder if any of them are my size?

Rose, I think this photo is technically wonderful. A perfect choice.

I thought of you and Monica tonight; we went to an "early new year's party" where we celebrated Rio style - with a countdown at 6pm Los Angeles time!

Happy New Year!

This is an excellent photo so colourful, very nicely composed too and it tells a story. Thoroughly enjoyed your blog especially the Hardres images which just blew my mind. Happy 2009 to you.

Rose, I have to agree with Hilda. . .your shot does make me wonder about the story that might lie behind the image. It puts me in mind of some scenes I've come across in Amish communities in PA. . .perhaps the rugged utilitarian contrasted with the domestic all in outdoor light. Really cool choice for today. I thought I might find shoes, though ;^). Hey, Katie is your GF today! Wishing you happiness and good health in 2009!

"Louis" has been so busy with his new espresso shop, he hasn't had much time to visit, much less comment.

All best wishes to you this New Year!

Such an odd combination of elements. I like this one a LOT! Perhaps the dresses are simply being aired out?

Happy New Year, Rose!

I, too, love this photo. For some reason I really like to see hanging clothes from outdoors. It must bring back pleasant memories from my childhood. I love the smell of fresh linen. Happy New Year and many blessings.
