This is one of the most peaceful places in Canterbury. It is located behind Canterbury Cathedral and although tourists look at them, they never stay long enough to disturb me when I sit down on the seats in the wall.
From there you can view the garden and some ruins.
The outer columns were renovated not long ago and each column has a dedication plaque to its sponsor.
A new photo of the beautiful city of Canterbury in Kent and surrounding area every day.

Sounds like a great place to me to sit down and meditate, read a book and dream away! :)
Rose, the Gothic arches seem to draw on in. It is altogether proper and fitting that you sit here and ponder the history and persons who passed this way over time.
