"Louis" is buried deeper than his cowbell in a work project for the next several weeks. He will stop and visit, but may not stay long enough to 'sign the guest registry'.
What magnificence you have captured, Rose! Nature is quite a master painter and thanks to you we've gotten to suspend the moment and enjoy the artistry. Bravo!
Louis la vache It is always a honour to have you visiting and if you take the trouble to sign the Guest Book even nicer. I am guilty of that too!
Julie In the middle of the bay is the old main building of the pier. Someone told me that is all what is left of the pier...
Meead Saberi k =Thank you. I was lucky because my husband was taking some pictures of the sky and I just borrowed his camera (and his settings!) and voila!
Ms M You are right. It was one of those days that we felt like buying a bought and sail into the sunset...
Abraham And I L-O-V-E yours!
Babooshka It was one of the most beautiful evenings I have ever seen. Just perfect.
Coltrane_lives No photography could have captured the beauty of the place. Everything was perfect. The warmth, light, the segulls, the happy voices of the people around us, the gentle waves breaking in the ramp where near the boats... so much to see, to feel, to experience...
John Haha...is it a challenge? I wish I had the guts to do it. I m too lazy so it will be just a dream... The official starting point for swimming the Channel is Dover.
Petrea Coming from you I take it as double compliment ;) I love all of your stuff.
Harry There is a light house near there but that is the old pier house.
Nicole I m not sure... but it is warm enough for people play in the water.
Cali Now you know what I am up to ...:)
Jackie I know what you mean... I promise you I didn't photoshopped it!
Rose you are quite right, the structure in the middle of the sea is the end of Herne Bay Pier. Apparently the walk way to the end has sunk twice... There is currently a campaign to rebuild the pier, with a veiw to putting a conference centre at the end, this would bring more visitors into the town and support the economy! By the way, great shot Rose.

This is lovely, Rose. What is that out there in the middle of the bay? Not a boat, surely? Maybe a structure to warm boats of dangers below?
Nice shot!
Thank you.
Enchanting, peaceful. Oh, to sit by the bay and watch the sun go down.
Nice sunset, Rose. I like your photography.
That really is a stunning sunset shot. Fabulous colours and light. Very impressive.
