The fair breeze blew...

If you look closely on this work I found inside the Grotto in Leeds Castle you will read Samuel Taylor Coleridge (died 74 years ago today) which says:

“The fair breeze blew, the white foam flew,
The furrow followed free;
We were the first that ever burst
Into that silent sea.”

Cool shot and interesting verse! Though try saying the poem's second line three times quickly. The alliterative "f" wrestles the tongue. It's almost as difficult as saying rapidly "red leather yellow leather." Ciao!

Very spooky, haunting image and no I didn't know of this fine poets anniverasry of this death was today.
